Hardy Sherwood is a well-established, Essex-based specialist roof and wall cladding contractor with many years of experience in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time to the external building envelope. Our team prides itself on working closely with our supply chain partners and clients to provide a proactive, positive, and open approach to each project, regardless of its size or complexity.

Our Services

At Hardy Sherwood, we offer a wide range of services and products to meet the demands of today's sophisticated roofing and wall cladding requirements. Our services include:

• Drawing/Design: Our drawing department is based at our Essex office, with access to additional draughting services throughout the UK as and when the need arises. All drawings are coordinated via our Head Office.
• Estimating: Our estimating department provides reliable, detailed, and accurate quotations, including value engineering advice and budget costing for all aspects of our works, from access and handrails to netting and cranes.
• Project Management: We assign a visiting contracts manager to each project, who oversees resources in design, site management, and surveying from the initial pre-contract award to completion.
• Health & Safety: Our experienced and trained workforce, along with our excellent Health & Safety record, ensures the safety of both our staff and those around us. We take great pride in our Health & Safety record.
• Training: We pride ourselves on getting our workforce trained to a high level, continually updating and reviewing our training plan to ensure the highest standards.

Our Projects

Hardy Sherwood has taken part in many developments throughout the UK. Here are just a few of our recent projects:

• Gascoigne Estate Barking Community Hub: We supplied and installed the building envelope for a newly constructed community shared space on the redevelopment of the Gascoigne Estate in Barking.
• Starbucks Drive-Thru Braintree: We supplied and installed a TATA D46 Roof deck and wall cladding for a new Starbucks Drive-thru in Braintree.
• HBD Butterfields Luton: We worked with Readie Construction and Jefferson Sheard Architects to deliver a project featuring Euroclad Elite 2 roof and wall systems.
• Riverside Way, Uxbridge: We collaborated with Marbank Construction and aja architects llp to provide a mix of built-up and composite cladding for a high-rise development.
• Springfield, Chelmsford: We worked with Mitchell Design & Construct and UMC Architects to supply and install Kingspan KS1000RW panels and Euroclad Elite 55 system built-up cladding.
• Fishers Grove, Portsmouth: We collaborated with Marbank Construction to deliver a project featuring Kingspan AWP and Euroclad Elite 55 system built-up cladding.
